I am being rocked by a book called unChristian. As an engineer by trade I respect facts and this book is driven by facts. Facts based on somewhat random questions of what people thought about Christians and how they thought Christian lifestyles differ from their own. In most cases there was or is NO DIFFERENCE!
What I found out is Christians are keeping people away from being Christians! I see it in my own church and people around me. People who preach one thing but live another. I have seen issues with pastors who have turned people away from church and God!
This book makes it clear that a younger generation who strives to serve God really are among the few remnant. Trey Canard, Gavin Gracyk, Ryan Morias, Blake Wharton, Tyler Wharton and so on really have a fight on thier hands as amoung their peers wait for the impending fall. More importantly as Christians we have to really make a consciense effort to realize people are watching when we least expect it. They are taking notes on our lives and our struggles and wanting to see if God really does make a difference.
The facts in this book makes it apparent; He is not.
Christianity has an image problem
Christians are supposed to represent Christ to the world. But according
to the latest report card, something has gone terribly wrong. Using
descriptions like “hypocritical,” “insensitive,”
and “judgmental,” young Americans share an impression of
Christians that’s nothing short of . . . unChristian.
Groundbreaking research into the perceptions of sixteen- to twenty-nine-year-olds
reveals that Christians have taken several giant steps backward in one
of their most important assignments. The surprising details of the study,
commissioned by Fermi Project and conducted by The Barna Group, are
presented with uncompromising honesty in unChristian.
Find out why these negative perceptions exist, learn how to reverse
them in a Christlike manner, and discover practical examples of how
Christians can positively contribute to culture.
We do a little catching up with local boy Will Hahn who chased the other local boy Blake Wharton last weekend. Kevin catches up with Will and finds out how his weekend in Houston was.

Welcome to the pilot of 5.8Kbs (we may rename it
)- Our new day-to-day updates with various motocross riders and industry personell. With this being the first one and being done by a behind the scenes kind of guy so there was a lot of post production work and music added to make it almost worth listening. I called Blake Sunday night after the Houston round and his first AMA Supercross to find out his thoughts on what its like from going from a spectator to a racer. I also asked how he dealt with the pressure and how God helped him through the day.
