Service Kawasaki Releases 2009 KX250AF
This new bike is built using a 2009 KXF250 chassis and brand new KX250 engine. Imagine the looks you will get when you show up at your local track aboard one of these beasts.
Check out this very cool Christian action sports magazine Five16. The name much like ours comes from a verse in the bible, and this one is for Matthew 5:16 In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.

Gavin Gracyk will be racing the WORCs series this weekend as a full blown privateer. Gavin has been off the radar for a while working on getting some bikes to start racing again. This weekend he will be running old school pitting with our pastor buddy Dustin an EZup and a few lawn chairs. Gavin has heart and should give those a guy a run for the money. The only thing that may slow him down is Dustin pouring gas on Gavin’s gonads and effectively ending his race day!

Although you do not have anything lined up for 2009, have you still been riding this off-season?
Oh yeah. I am actually in the process of getting some bikes put together. However, since I moved back home from North Carolina, I haven’t had a lot of time on the bike because of the weather and taking care of my mom. Right now, however, I am in Northern California and I’ll be heading down to Southern California to do some riding. Plus, the program that Drew has me on is preparing me for my next task. I still have a lot of people supporting me and staying by my side like Glen and Ryan at Cycra, 5-8 Motocross, and everybody else who knows that I have a goal I’m trying to accomplish. I want to make sure that they are all there to see it accomplished. I’m trying to do a few things that my dad used to do. My dad used to help out riders who were a less fortunate to get to all the races…

I’m sure by now you all know that a pioneer in freestyle motocross, Jeremy Lusk, passed away earlier this month. If anything good came from this accident at all, it is that we learned the extent of the Metal Mulisha’s faith in god, and to me it was a beautiful thing to see. Fuel TV did an amazing job of putting this tribute together, the best part being the interviews with the rest of the Mulisha. The Metal Mulisha seem to be the opposite of christian, but in reality they have complete faith in god, and this video really shows it.
Some random thoughts that come to mind after watching the funeral service for Jeremy.
1. In life he touched so many in death Jesus saved so many
2. I wonder if the metal mulisha will be the same. Brian saying he’s wasted so much of his life. My gut tells me your going to see some changes in the mulisha.
3. Faisst quoting Prov 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
4. Loren his wife, accepted Christ even in the mist of being angry at God.
5. At least 100 people including most of his family and closest “mulisha” buddies stood up to say the sinners prayer.
6. What as Christians are we doing to further the kingdom? Will people know you’re a Christian?
2 Corinthians 5
1 For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down (that is, when we die and leave this earthly body), we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands. 2 We grow weary in our present bodies, and we long to put on our heavenly bodies like new clothing. 3 For we will put on heavenly bodies; we will not be spirits without bodies. 4 While we live in these earthly bodies, we groan and sigh, but it’s not that we want to die and get rid of these bodies that clothe us. Rather, we want to put on our new bodies so that these dying bodies will be swallowed up by life. 5 God himself has prepared us for this, and as a guarantee he has given us his Holy Spirit. 6 So we are always confident, even though we know that as long as we live in these bodies we are not at home with the Lord. 7 For we live by believing and not by seeing. 8 Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord.
OK this has been a crazy week with work and families and life in general. As most of you now we are all family guys who have normal 8-whenever type jobs that pay the bills. Things have gotten so crazy that we had to take this past week off and just slow down and chill before we blow a head gasket so to speak. Keep checking back as we plan on getting our next show recorded in a week or so.
As of Tuesday, February 10th, 2009, the small powersports industry has all but been shut down. This affects not only dealers and new units but individuals all across the U.S. New and used units as well as parts avilability for every used unit in the nation has been called under question. This issue is far reaching not only financially but also concerning safety. With the suspension of proper sized ATV’s and motorcycles suspended, young riders will be tempted to use improperly sized and built machines which could (but Lord willing won’t) lead to severe injuries….
